How to Use Canva Vision Board Templates (Step-by-Step Guide) Instructions for Using Your Canva Template

 (For beginners – no design experience needed)

1. Open Canva

 • Go to Canva.com

• Log into your Canva account.• Don’t have one yet? Click “Sign up” — it’s completelyfree and super easy to use.

2. Open Your Template

• You can start with ready-made templates in Canva’s free version,or open the one you purchased (for example, from your Vision Board Planner kit).

3. Make Your Own Copy (Important!)

 Before you start editing, make your own copy so the original stays safe and unchanged.

Here’s how:• When the Canva template opens, look for the purple button at the top that says “Use this template.”→ Click it to instantly create your own editable copy in your Canva account.

 If you don’t see a “Use template” button:

 • Don’t worry — Canva may have opened your editable copy automatically.

 • To be sure you keep an original version saved, do this instead:

·       Click File (top-left menu in Canva).

·       Select “Make a copy.”

·       Canva will create a duplicate design in your account.

Now rename your copy so it’s easy to find:

 • Click the file name at the top, on the purple bar (it may say Untitled design).

 • Type a new name — for example: “My Vision Board – Editable Copy.”

4. Edit the Text

 • Click on any text box to change the wording — add your affirmations, goals, or dreams.• To add new text:

·       Click Text on the left panel.

·       Choose “Add a heading” or “Add a body text.”

·       Type your text and drag it where you want.

5. Replace or Add Photos

Option 1 – Upload your own: • Click Uploads on the left menu • Click Upload files and select your photos • Drag a photo onto a frame in the template, it will automatically replace the existing one.

Option 2 – Use TerraMes® Resources (for Vision Board Planner owners):• In your Planner, find the page titled “Link to Resources.” • You’ll find Canva pages filled with ready-to-use photos, stickers, and quotes. • Copy and paste your favorites into your vision board — no searching, no stress!

6. Customize Colors and Fonts

 • Click on any text or element.

 • Use the top toolbar to change colors, fonts, or sizes.

 • Make it feel personal and aligned with your vision.

7. Save Your Work

 • Canva automatically saves as you go.

 • Your file will always be available in “Your Projects” or “Your Designs”

inside your Canva account.

8. Download Your Design

 • When you’re finished, click “Download” (top-right corner).

 • Choose the file format that suits your needs:

·       PNG – for digital use (phone, tablet, or online sharing).

·       PDF – for printing.

9. Print your Vision Board or Use Digitally

 • Print at home or send to a professional printer.• Or keep it digital — set it as your wallpaper or daily reminder.
